If your bedroom is looking a bit drab, or outdated consider changing you accent colour. Or perhaps you never really even had an accent colour, in which case the options for selecting one is wide open to you. Also, remember it is not required that you only have one accent shade, go for multiple, the key is to be repetitive with the colours you choose.

Once you have decided upon the chartreuse and black or navy grey and red, it is time to fill your bedroom with accent pieces in those colours. Do not go overboard, but in order to make the statement that your colours were intentional, and not per chance, choose a bunch. Look to stationary, lamps, pillows, baskets, and picture frames for starters. Or go with area rugs, curtain sashes, and candles if these are easier, and work as well in the space.
